Our sump pump switch went out, then the dish washer motor died, followed by the magnetic strip around our fridge tearing off. All of those are 6 years old or less. I have no fear of the unknown so I dove in and fixed them…what a pain. I feel for you with the transition problem…wayyy outta my league! Like celebrities, our appliances/cars die in threes.

Just a quickie, won't drag on, but most pet stores know nothing about how to properly care for hermit crabs. Chances are the crabs you all pick up will continue to die, as it's very likely you were given bad info on their habitat and care. Can I please encourage you not to continue supporting the pet stores by buying more crabs that will die, and instead try to create a proper habitat for them? It can get expensive, I warn you! Hermit crabs can live over 30 years in captivity, the oldest two are now 33.
